My F/W still has the original Medallion gauges that are 31 years old and they all still work! Then get the OE one fixed in the off season. That's what I'd suggest.just get an inexpensive Teleflex fuel gauge and extend the original wiring out to the gauge, and rig something up to hold it so you can see it. If it is the gauge, I might just get an aftermarket gas gauge and mount it under the dash until something else fails. However, when I turn the key off the fuel gauge does not drop below 1/2 like the others so I don’t know if that’s a problem - have asked Faria.įaria did say they could fix the gauge for $125 but like you said it’s the amount of time without the other 3 gauges on the multi-gauge and the hole in the dash. Anyway 111 corresponds to about 1/2 full which is what the gauge is reading. Maybe it was moisture last time that gave me the low reading. I went back to the boat and ohmed the sender again, got 111 this time. Faria replied to my query, it’s a 240-33 ohm sender.
